January 1, 2010

Welcome to the 2010 PMRA race season.

There is Big news for 2010 season, starting with the First ever Series Sponsor. Entz Racing Components, from Wichita, KS. Bryan Entz has been selling used stock and race parts for 10 years on the internet and is expanding his business with a new website. Look for more information on the PMRA website.

Star Racing is returning as Top Gas class sponsor for 2010 and Mr. Paint is returning as Super Comp sponsor. We are also adding a wonderful new sponsor for Super Gas, Moline Bar, in Moline Kansas. Richard and Raylene Gardner are the owners and regulars at PMRA events with their daughter and son in law Destiny and Eric Vaughn. Thanks MOLINE BAR!

Komodo Gear is a new Associate/Contingency sponsor for 2010 and will be attending PMRA events in 2010. Look for more info on the PMRA website soon about Komodo. Dave Conforti of World Wide Bearings is also returning as an Associate sponsor for 2010.

The 2010 Entz Racing Components schedule will consists of 6 events at Thunder Valley Raceway park in Noble, OK.  I tried very hard to add a race in Texas this season but just couldn't get it done. As you all know 2009 was very tough for everyone and the PMRA as well. The racer in me would like to have 20 classes and 2 day events but the bike count isn't there. Several classes have had declining numbers and I was looking at some tough decisions. Membership will increase to $50 this year or $15 for a single race which is a small but necessary change. Thanks to our new sponsors and one new combination class I think we will have a successful and exciting season.

Funnybike and Pro Street will be combined this year in "Open Class". Open Class will be heads up fastest bike wins at ALL six events with Funnybikes, Outlaws, Pro Street, Pro Mod, Pro Stock, and Nitro Harleys competing. By combining these two classes it allows us to not eliminate a class, increase the purse, and have the class at all six events. I think many of you will be surprised at how exciting this class will be this year.

Real Street will not be a class in 2010, but may be in the future. There is definitely an increase in no bar bikes and the future of the PMRA will include more street bikes. With Real Street at Tulsa, KOTT, and a series on Friday nights at Thunder Valley, hopefully the class will grow and morph into something that will be a good solid class with a full field for the future.

So get those bikes tuned up, order some new parts from our sponsors and get ready RACING SEASON is less than 4 MONTHS AWAY!
